When they click on this button, a new page will appear -as it is the same as the “See My Profile” button to navigate-, click the “Edit Profile” button, and fill in the required information: Username, display name, biography, and one social media link. They must also check the “I want to be a Content Creator” box. After submitting the form, authorized personnel will review the application, and once approved, the user will gain access to create content.
- Add your personal information. The username is your nickname but the display name is your content creator name. Please choose it carefully. If you do not follow the rules, our review team will not approve your marketplace user status as a content creator.
- Update your personal information.
Step 4: Upload Materials
Important Notice: Use the lesson materials format that we give to you from here. You can check below the format of the material. Choose one of them. (Audio Books are not available for the Testnet on the first day)
1. Video Materials must be .mp4
2. Audio Book Materials must be.mp3
3. Written content PDF Materials like Academic Research, article, or book must be .pdf
Let’s Started:
- First, we are going to create our collection. On this page, you will fill in “Collection Name”, “Collection Description”, “Collection Logo” and “Collection Cover Image”. On this page, when you filled the information, you have to press the “Save” button.
The term “Collection Name” in the context of organizing courses refers to the chosen name for a group of related courses offered within a specific field or discipline. This concept is particularly applicable when categorizing courses within the domain of computer science. For instance, if there is an extensive range of computer science courses such as Javascript, React, C#, and others, it becomes essential to assign an appropriate collection name such as “Computer Sciences” or “Programming Languages.” Even if there is only one course available, it is still advisable to create a collection, such as “My Courses” to maintain consistency and provide a cohesive organizational structure. Establishing a well-defined collection name is crucial for effectively grouping and presenting courses, ensuring clarity for learners, and facilitating their navigation through the course offerings.
“Collection Logo” is not your course’s main logo or image. The term “Collection Logo” refers to the graphical representation or emblem associated with a collection of courses rather than an individual course. It is important to distinguish between a course logo and a collection logo. For instance, when organizing a diverse range of computer science courses, it is recommended to utilize appropriate imagery or symbols related to the field of computer science for the collection logo, rather than using specific images solely associated with a particular course, such as React. By selecting relevant and representative images pertaining to the broader discipline of computer sciences, the collection logo effectively communicates the overarching theme and purpose of the course collection. This attention to detail and consistency in visual representation helps establish a professional and cohesive branding identity for the collection of courses, facilitating clarity and recognition among learners.
- Afterward, you will see the content upload screen and choose one of the content types on the screen. You will have 3 different types for the upload; course means video materials; written content means books, academic research, and other PDF materials; audiobook means .mp3 or another voice format.
- In this document, we will follow “the courses section” but, we are asking you to try the other sections from our users and let us know if they find any bugs or crashes.
- After choosing the course section, fill in the course detail following the Edu3Labs NFT Marketplace rules. Do not fill out the form with bad, racist, other unpolitely words, political things, etc.
- After uploading the materials, you will choose your NFT image. This will be your main content image.
- In the curriculum section, we will prepare our course line. It means we will upload our video and lesson materials. We will determine our lesson’s title and description. After that, we will arrange the lessons in the order we want them to be.
- Lastly, after making any necessary changes, we will promptly submit our courses for the “Draft” using the “Finish” button. Once submitted, you will have the opportunity to continue making further changes and updates. Your courses will be posted in the “Draft” section, accessible from the “Creator Dashboard” screen.
The “Draft” section allows you to maintain full control over your courses and make modifications as needed. It serves as a platform where you can refine your content before finalizing it.
Once you are satisfied with the changes, you can approve your course for review by our team. Upon review and approval by our team, your test course will be prepared for sale on the NFT Marketplace. However, it’s important to note that in some cases, our team may reject the content uploaded by certain users. If your content is rejected, you can resubmit your application by utilizing the content creator’s dashboard screen.
We continuously strive to enhance our platform and evaluate content thoroughly. Rejecting certain content allows us to test and refine the modules we have developed.
Step 5: Decide the Price, sell your NFTs, and Buy Other User’s NFTs
- When our review team approves your course, your course will be in the “Minting” section. From here click the “Mint” button and mint your NFTs. After that, your course will be in the “Active Courses” below.
- From the “Published” section, you can list your NFT. You can set your price with the “List NFT” button. After doing this, your content is listed on the marketplace.
- Afterward, you can wait for your NFTs -courses- to get sold while doing other steps, or you can invite other testnet users and ask them to buy.
- Buy one of the educational NFTs — for example, written content, or video courses.
- Check your wallet and be aware of gas. If your gas fee is high, please let us know.
- Transfer NFT that you own to other users.
Step 6: Read, Listen, or Watch Educational Materials
- While doing this step, you will test our main platform goal. This is one of the most critical steps.
